Required Skills:
• Strong development background in JAVA
• Proven experience with GWT/GXT and Swing.
• Good knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills, including strong working knowledge and experience in design patterns.
• Experience with web container technologies, especially Tomcat.
• Experience with version control and build tools (such as Subversion and Ant).
Preferred Skills:
• ORM framework experience (Hibernate preferred)
• Proficiency with unit testing using frameworks such as JUnit
• Experience developing J2EE applications (JBoss preferred)
• Experience with web service development (REST or SOAP)
• XML and related technologies such as XSD, JAXB, XSLT, etc.
• Proficiency with IDE-based development, especially in Eclipse
• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks (such as Spring or Guice).
• Solid SQL development skills with major Relational Data Management Systems (such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)
Bonus points for skills in:
• Machine learning.
• Natural language processing.
• Ontologies and Knowledge Acquisition Systems
